This inner-city custom home is a standout build featuring 12-foot foundation walls engineered for a deep basement and high ceilings — a key element in maximizing livable space on a compact urban lot. Designed for modern family living, this project combines precision framing, structural complexity, and high-end architectural detailing.
Located in one of Calgary’s most desirable neighborhoods, the site presents the challenges typical of tight-access inner-city construction — limited lay-down space, complex excavation, and heavy concrete work. Carpenters Inc. coordinated every phase from forming through framing to deliver accuracy, efficiency, and safety on schedule.
Scope of Work
- 12-ft foundation walls and concrete forming
- Engineered framing for main and upper floors
- Structural beams, tall walls, and open-concept layouts
- Roof framing, window openings, and site-specific tie-ins
- Full framing package through to lock-up
